It contains the most current list of exhibitors and their locations in the convention center, McCormick Place. ### Digital Experience The Digital Experience is SC’s custom virtual event platform that is integrated with the conference schedule. Full details will become available when registration launches in July. ### Additional Tools The SC26 Mobile App will launch in early November for download to Apple and Android devices. A printed pocket guide, the Conference at a Glance, will be available at registration when you pick up your badge. It will include session listings and a map of McCormick Place. A printed folding map of the exhibit floor in detail will also be available at registration. Pro Tips Flag sessions in the schedule to create your own personalized agenda for your time at SC. Exhibits are only open Tuesday through Thursday, so make sure you save time on those days to explore them. SC’s [Code of Conduct](https://sc26.supercomputing.org/code-of-conduct/) contains our policies and commitments to ensure a safe and joyful conference experience for all. Additionally, use common sense as you would in any large city: * Don’t wear your badge outside the convention center, and be aware of your surroundings. * Don’t walk alone at night, use the buddy system, and stay on well-lit or major streets at night. * Carry a phone in case of emergencies and have at least one other attendee’s contact information. * Ask hotel staff if certain areas are safe before going out. * Do not leave belongings unattended. ### Wireless Access Networking resources are provided free of charge. The wireless network extends to meeting rooms, the exhibit hall, and all common areas of the convention center occupied by SC. There are two ways to access the network: * **SC26** or **SC26v6** SSIDs are the general, unencrypted wireless access for most attendees and exhibitors. * The **eduroam** SSID is an encrypted wireless connection authenticated using preconfigured user credentials from their participating institutions. If you do not have an eduroam account before you arrive at the conference, or if your institution does not participate in eduroam, you will not be able to connect to the eduroam server. * Resolve connection issues at the **SCinet Help Desk** on the exhibit floor. We suggest bringing the following: * Copies of your resume and/or business cards (most hotels have business centers if you need to print more). * Laptop (for tutorials, taking notes, checking Slack). * Appropriate outerwear for the weather, temperatures in Chicago will average 48ºF/9ºC highs and 34ºF/1ºC lows. * Business casual attire and comfortable walking shoes. **How do I get to the Convention Center or my hotel?** For traveling from the airport to the convention center, we recommend public transit, airport shuttles, or a taxi/Uber/Lyft. * Find information on travel to McCormick Place and the hotels on our [convention center](https://sc26.supercomputing.org/convention-center/) page. * The McCormick Place website has good information regarding [public transit](https://www.mccormickplace.com/getting-here/public-transportation/) options. * [Google Maps](https://maps.google.com/) is excellent for getting around downtown and has public transit information. * If you are traveling by car, parking is available at the convention center and at hotels. Review the information on [parking at McCormick Place](https://www.mccormickplace.com/getting-here/parking-rates/). **Is there a shuttle bus service from the hotel to the convention center?** SC provides shuttle bus service from select hotels to and from the convention center. There will not be shuttle service from all hotels as some are within walking distance. In past years, shuttles have run every 15-30 minutes. There will be a shuttle bus map and schedule posted on the [Housing & Shuttles](https://sc26.supercomputing.org/housing/) page in the summer of 2026. **What sessions can I attend?** Your registration category will determine which sessions you can attend. The technical program registration will give you access to much of what the conference offers, including the keynotes, papers, posters, workshops, and the exhibit hall. If you want more hands-on sessions, we encourage you to also register for tutorials. Attending a variety of sessions is an excellent way to engage with and benefit from the program fully. **When should I register and pick up my badge?** We encourage you to [register before arriving](https://sc26.supercomputing.org/registration/) at the conference.
