**Berlin, Germany – September 3, 2026 –** First unveiled at [Tech World](https://news.lenovo.com/pressroom/press-releases/lenovo-unveils-lenovo-and-motorola-qira/) earlier this year, Lenovo & Motorola Qira is a personal AI designed to work seamlessly across compatible Lenovo and Motorola devices. At MWC in March, Lenovo began bringing that vision to market, [announcing](https://news.lenovo.com/pressroom/press-releases/adaptive-ai-pcs-modular-concepts-qira-rollout-mwc-2026/) the initial rollout of Lenovo Qira across more than 20 Lenovo devices.

**Today at Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026, Lenovo & Motorola Qira will be expanding across more devices, apps and markets by:**

- Expanding support to eligible Lenovo PCs with 16GB of memory, broadening access beyond higher-memory configurations
- Expanding to eligible Motorola devices as they receive the Android 17 upgrade including select edge, signature and razr devices
- Integrating into moto watch ultra, the first wearable to support Lenovo & Motorola Qira
- Expanding connected experiences through supported applications and services including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail, and Outlook Calendar through Lenovo’s new collaboration with Workato

Since the initial rollout earlier this year, Lenovo has brought Lenovo & Motorola Qira to more than 80 supported PC configurations across its commercial and consumer portfolios, as well as select tablets and Motorola smartphones. Lenovo & Motorola Qira currently supports six languages, with more coming. Lenovo plans to expand the experience to additional device families and form factors by the end of 2026.

### One Personal AI Across More Devices

Lenovo & Motorola Qira is built with the insight that people rarely spend their day on a single device. An idea captured on a tablet may need to be continued later on a PC, while messages, notifications and meeting details can become scattered throughout the day. By bringing prioritized notification summaries and cross-device knowledge into one interface, Lenovo & Motorola Qira helps users catch up on what they missed, recall what matters and continue where they left off with less switching between apps and devices.

Support for eligible Lenovo PCs with 16GB of memory broadens access beyond higher-memory configurations, while continued local model optimization strengthens the on-device AI foundation behind Lenovo & Motorola Qira. Eligible users can download Lenovo Qira from the [Lenovo website.](https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht518523) Lenovo Qira will come preloaded on supported Lenovo devices at a later date.

Lenovo & Motorola Qira will soon expand to eligible Motorola devices as they receive the Android 17 upgrade. The rollout will take place gradually, with timing varying by device and market. On supported Motorola smartphones currently featuring moto ai and tablets currently featuring AI Now, the Android 17 upgrade will introduce Motorola Qira, bringing Motorola users a new generation of AI.

Motorola Qira will be integrated into the moto watch ultra, the first wearable on which it will be available. Users will be able to raise their wrist or say “Hey Qira” to ask general questions or get information using Lenovo & Motorola Qira’s cross-device knowledge.

“ *Personal AI should not be another app waiting for a prompt*,” **said Dan Dery, Vice President of AI Ecosystem, Lenovo.** “ *It should understand what matters to you, move with you across devices and help orchestrate next steps across the agents, applications and services you choose. With this next evolution of Lenovo & Motorola Qira, we are bringing that vision closer to reality through intelligence that is built into the device, designed around the individual and developed with privacy, choice and control at its core*.”

### Expanding Across Everyday Apps and Services

Moving from intent to action often requires users to search across email, calendars and collaboration tools. Through Lenovo’s new collaboration with Workato, Lenovo & Motorola Qira can connect with select applications and services on supported devices, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Slack, Outlook Mail and Outlook Calendar, to help users find relevant information and complete actions.

This creates a more direct path from asking to doing while maintaining user permission and control. If a calendar event changes or an important update arrives in an email or group chat, users will not need to dig through separate apps to find it. They can instead use Catch Me Up and take action from the same interface.

Lenovo is also collaborating with Notion and expanding Lenovo & Motorola Qira’s Perplexity integration, so users can keep making progress in the things that matter to them like moodboards, documents, and research – without switching apps or devices.

Users will be able to connect their Notion account to Lenovo & Motorola Qira so that they can edit and pull up information from their projects, right from Lenovo & Motorola Qira. With Lenovo & Motorola Qira’s expanded Perplexity integration, users will be able to do more deep research, including often getting visual references for their interests and goals.

Privacy, security and user control are foundational to Lenovo & Motorola Qira. Its hybrid, local-first architecture prioritizes on-device processing where supported, with information that is added to a user’s personal knowledge base encrypted and stored locally. When cloud processing is needed for a requested experience, Lenovo & Motorola Qira sends only the prompt and relevant context required for that request through secure, encrypted cloud services. Cross-device synchronization is optional and user-controlled.

**Availability**

The availability, timing and experience of the features showcased at IFA and described above may vary by device, market, configuration and platform. Some features may require software updates, user permission, supported applications or services, account sign-in, internet connectivity, or specific hardware and software configurations. App integrations and connected app functionality may vary by market, service and account type.
