We're taking another step toward a more private digital world by donating our Longfellow Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) library, which we [open-sourced](https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/technology/safety-security/opening-up-zero-knowledge-proof-technology-to-promote-privacy-in-age-assurance/) last year, to the [Post-Quantum Cryptography Alliance](https://pqca.org/), a foundation under the Linux Foundation Europe.

When combined with digital IDs, ZKP lets you prove something about yourself — such as verifying to a website that you’re over 18 — without sharing any other personal information. By transferring this cryptographic library to the Linux Foundation Europe, we’re establishing vendor-neutral, open stewardship so the global community can trust, audit, and adopt it as a quantum-safe standard for digital identity applications. We’ll continue to develop and support this library in the open and in collaboration with experts around the world.

Scaling these solutions requires robust collaboration between the public and private sectors. By relying on open standards, we can help people securely use digital credentials for trusted interactions, both in person and online. Together, we can build a global, interoperable infrastructure that works across every device, browser, and wallet, ensuring no one is left behind.
