Beginning in 2027, the annual **[OCP Global Summit](https://www.opencompute.org/summit/global-summit) is moving to a new location!**  
  
**The OCP Global Summit will move to the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco, California,** marking an exciting new chapter for our global event and Community.  
  
San Jose has been an important home for the OCP Global Summit for many years, and we are grateful to the city, our venue partners and the entire San Jose team for their support. As the Summit has grown, so has the need for a venue that can accommodate more attendees and exhibitors while supporting the collaborative experience that defines the event.  
  
Moscone Center gives the Global Summit the space and flexibility to do just that. The larger venue will allow us to welcome more of the global OCP Community while creating expanded opportunities to come together, connect, collaborate and exchange ideas — all within one facility.  
  
*“The OCP Global Summit continues to grow alongside our Community, and this move gives us the room to build on that momentum,”* said George Tchaparian, CEO, Open Compute Project Foundation*.“The Moscone Center provides the scale and the flexibility we need for the future, while allowing us to preserve what makes the OCP Global Summits special: bringing the community together to collaborate on advancing data center buildouts and AI infrastructures."*  
  
The move will also provide attendees with more options throughout their Summit experience. Downtown San Francisco offers a broad selection of hotels across a range of brands and price points, with many within walking distance of Moscone Center. The surrounding area also offers easy access to restaurants, museums, shopping and destinations including Yerba Buena Gardens, Union Square and the Embarcadero.  
  
The move also comes at an exciting time for San Francisco. The city is experiencing renewed momentum downtown, with significant improvements in public safety and street conditions.  
  
**We look forward to welcoming the OCP Community to San Francisco in 2027.**
