We selected 28 startups focused on [AI solutions for the energy industry](https://blog.google/company-news/outreach-and-initiatives/entrepreneurs/google-for-startups-accelerator/) to join the Google for Startups Accelerator programs across [North America](https://startup.google.com/programs/accelerator/north-america/) and [Europe](https://startup.google.com/programs/accelerator/europe-israel/).

We see a generational opportunity for AI to redesign a sustainable and resilient global energy system, accelerating Google’s commitment to expand access to clean, reliable, and affordable power for everyone. The class of 2026 includes startups that are using AI to boost energy efficiency and reduce power bills for households and businesses, modernize the grid to run more efficiently and intelligently, and strengthen system reliability through smart demand flexibility solutions.

## Meet the North American cohort
