**What’s the News?** Today at Advancing AI 2026, AMD announced the [**AMD Robotics Partner Network**](https://www.amd.com/en/search/partner/robotics-partners.html),bringing together a broad ecosystem of validated hardware and software partners to accelerate the development and deployment of robotics and physical AI systems powered by AMD platforms. The program connects original design manufacturers (ODMs), independent software vendors (ISVs), simulation providers, sensor and perception companies, safety and benchmarking partners, and system integrators through common AMD hardware and a software foundation built on open standards.

**Why It Matters?** Robotics and physical AI represent one of the most important frontiers for adaptive and high-performance computing. As robotics and physical AI projects move rapidly from research and proof-of-concept into real-world deployment, the AMD Robotics Partner Network is designed to help customers streamline development, validate systems before deployment, reduce integration complexity and accelerate the path from prototype to production without dependence on proprietary runtimes or closed development environments.

**What is the Role of AMD?**

> No single company will build the future of physical AI. Building robots requires bringing together AI models, middleware, sensors, simulation tools, system integrators and production hardware. Too often, those pieces come from disconnected vendors with little validation between them. With the AMD Robotics Partner Network, we are extending the AMD open ecosystem approach into robotics to help reduce integration efforts, shorten development cycles and allow roboticists to move from reference platform to production systems with greater flexibility, portability and confidence.

**What Does the AMD Robotics Partner Network Offer?** The partner network brings together ODMs and AI model partners to provide reference platforms and systems for rapid integration, while middleware, sensor, robotics technologies and integration partners deliver optimized robotics software and pipelines. Simulation and validation partners support digital twin development, testing and AI model training.

Partners build robotics systems using open and widely adopted tools including the AMD ROS 2 Perception Node accelerated application, the AMD ROCm™ open software ecosystem, AMD Ryzen™ AI software, AMD Vitis™ AI software and the ONNX development framework. The program is model-agnostic, enabling partners to run models and frameworks on the AMD platform that best fits their needs.

The AMD Robotics Partner Network enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and developers to start with reference platforms like the AMD Kria™ AI Robotics Developer Platform and a unified environment built on AMD ROCm, ROS 2 and the new Robotics Software Suite with optimized robotics pipelines.

**What More Do I Need to Know?** The program spans AMD compute platforms from embedded edge systems powered by AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded processors and AMD Versal™ adaptive SoCs to data center infrastructure powered by AMD EPYC™ processors and AMD Instinct™ GPUs. It is designed to offer customers open, validated and production-ready robotics solutions across perception, planning, control, simulation, training and deployment.

**How Does Membership Work?** The AMD Robotics Partner Network is open for enrollment. Registered tier entry is open to qualified robotics companies at no cost, with no licensing or membership fees at any tier. Membership spans four tiers with partners progressing by publishing validated AMD platform-based solutions and unlocking co-marketing, validation designations and early platform access at higher levels.
