TOKYO -- [Foxconn](https://www.autonews.com/nissan/an-foxconn-ev-america-launch-nissan-partners-hon-hai-0409/), the Taiwanese iPhone-maker expanding into [electric vehicles](https://www.autonews.com/mitsubishi/an-mitsubishi-foxconn-ev-supply-hon-hai-0507/), has postponed its U.S. launch of a midsize EV crossover because of tariffs and will pivot to producing vehicles in Poland and pitching a new taxi for Japan as part of its international growth strategy.
