TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Foxconn Technology Group Chair Young Liu (劉揚偉) discussed AI collaboration projects with South Korea’s SK Group Chair Chey Tae-won in Taipei this week, Foxconn said Thursday.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of Computex 2026, held from June 2 to 5 in Taipei.

Earlier in the week, Chey, whose group includes semiconductor manufacturer SK Hynix, also met Nvidia founder and CEO [Jensen Huang](https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/news/6375747) (黃仁勳).

Liu and Chey discussed AI developments, including potential collaboration between their companies in AI servers, AI data centers, and energy solutions, according to a Foxconn [news release](https://www.foxconn.com/en-us/press-center/press-releases/latest-news/2054).

The statement said the talks were aimed at strengthening their competitiveness in the next generation of AI development.

Foxconn described its strengths as vertical integration in AI servers, rack-scale system integration, AI data center solutions, and advanced thermal technologies. SK’s strengths include technological capabilities and innovation in AI memory technologies, Foxconn said.

The two companies also discussed AI market demand and opportunities in battery technologies, robotics, and energy management, according to Foxconn.
